Saen El-Tara Care Services is committed to preventing modern slavery in all its activities, including those of any organisation it engages.
Saen El-Tara Care Services provides home care, extra care, outreach programme and reablement services to a wide range of vulnerable adults in the UK, including older people, people with health and mobility issues, people with mental health issues, learning disabilities and physical disabilities.
Most of our services are delivered through contracts and individuals who fund their own care and support.
As a responsible employer, currently employing people, Saen El-Tara Care Services recognises that modern slavery is a serious issue with grave consequences for those affected.
We seek to address the problem through our robust, recruitment checks, including proof-of-identity, right-to-work, references and employment history checks. We are never complacent and recognise that there are always some risks.
As a responsible and responsive employer, we have in place a comprehensive system for all recruits to ensure they have valid visa, passport checks, proof-of-identity, right-to-work and visual checks of original documentation are carried out.
We ensure that every individual employee we engage undergoes thorough due diligence checks in compliance with the Modern Slavery Act due to the robust recruitment checks we carry out for all staff we engage.
We also regularly update our supporting polices, including our Recruitment Policy, Safeguarding Policy, Whistleblowing Policy and Modern Slavery Policy and Procedure.
